Surgeries

A full range of Urological services are offered at Saint John Regional Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital. Consultation and day surgery services are also offered at the Sussex Health Centre and Charlotte County Hospital. Special expertise is available in cancer surgery. Prostrate cancer detection has gained an international reputation. Innovative Urodynamic services, including a Video-urodynamic clinic, Biofeedback clinic and a Nocturnal Clinic for children over the age of five is offered on an outpatient basis. The role of Nurse Continence Advisor has been established. The two nurses in this role at St. Joseph's Hospital has gained national and international recognition through presentations at conferences and participation in national committees.
