The Pharmacy Department is a regional service with physical sites at Sussex Health Centre, Charlotte County Hospital, St. Joseph's Hospital and the Saint John Regional Hospital. Dispensing to 80-bed veterans' wing and a 50-bed mental health facility occurs from the Saint John Regional site. A consultant pharmacist offers a weekly Hypertension Clinic at Fundy Health Center in Blacks Harbour and consults to Grand Manan Hospital on Grand Manan Island.

The Department offers a full TPN and chemotherapy admixture service as well as a partial centralized intravenous additive service. The department is in the process of implementing a unit-dose system in selected areas of the Saint John Regional site. The pharmacy dispenses to outpatients of government programs including dialysis patients and growth hormone patients as well as home TPN patients.

Clinical pharmacy services include a therapeutic drug-monitoring program. Fulltime clinical pharmacists are involved with Anticoagulation Clinic, Family Medicine, Nephrology, Surgery, Health and Aging and Oncology Programs. The services of a clinical pharmacist are also offered to Adult ICU and to Palliative Care. Pharmacists participate in teaching selected outpatient populations.
