A full range of Ophthalmology services are provided with inpatient consultation and emergency services at the Saint John Regional Hospital and day surgery and outpatient services at the St. Joseph’s Health Care Complex.

The Eye Clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital provides Laser services, Orthoptics, visual field testing, and fluoroscein angiography, as well as a consultation service.

The NB Eye Bank is also located in the clinic at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Elective surgery (cataracts, glaucoma, and paediatric surgery) is provided through the OR suite at St. Joseph's Health Care Complex.  Emergency surgery is performed in the OR suite at the Saint John Regional Hospital
