Mohs Micrographic Surgery Coming to Saint John

Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation is pleased to announce that Dr. Robert Hayes will be opening a new Mohs Micrographic Surgery Clinic at the Saint John Regional Hospital.  Preparations are being made for the grand opening in September 2006.

Mohs Micrographic Surgery is an advanced outpatient treatment for skin cancer that uses the accuracy of a microscope to trace and ensure removal of tumours down to their roots.  The Mohs Micrographic Surgery Clinic will be headed by Dr. Hayes, and will be the only centre in Atlantic Canada to offer this state-of-the-art treatment.

Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation is fortunate that Dr. Hayes has chosen to return to this Region.  Patients from all over New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada will now have access to this specialized treatment procedure.
