On Site Services

There are a variety of services offered at the Saint John Regional Hospital for patients, their families and friends.

Banking Services The Credit Union is located on level 0. It offers full banking services to members. There is an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) located on Level 2 near the coffee shop.
Food Services The main cafeteria on the second floor is open to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. seven days a week. The Coffee Shop on the second floor is open to the public from 06:45 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. seven days a week.
Spiritual Care Pastoral care visitors and clergy are available to offer spiritual care during the day and are on call after hours. The multi-faith chapel located in the second floor is always open for private prayer and meditation for patients and families. If you would like to talk to a member of the Spiritual Care team, please speak with your nurse.
Gift Shop A gift shop is located in the main lobby on level 1. This shop is owned and operated by the Saint John Regional Hospital. All profits are used for patient’s comforts and hospital equipment. The Gift Shop offers a wide range of products such as magazines, newspapers, and much more. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 08:00 a.m. to 09:00 p.m.. Saturday, Sunday and holidays 12:00 until 05:00 p.m.
Cellular Phone Policy Cellular phones interfere with hospital electronics and must be turned off in patient care areas.
Television Rentals If you want to rent a TV set, please ask the staff on your unit for more information.
Telephone Rentals Telephones are available in all patients’ rooms except for intensive care units Aliant Telecom will bill your home number for service. Ask the staff for help in setting up your phone.
Unisex Hair Salon The "Hair Kair Korner" is open Tuesday to Friday from 09:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Conveniently located on 3 C South, patients, visitors, and staff may arrange for hairdressing services by calling extension 6546.
