The New Brunswick Heart Centre opened 15 years ago offering registered nurses and licensed practical nurses an opportunity to work to their full scope of practice. Registered nurses are also offered the opportunity to work in an advanced practice role as nurse associates in the fields of general cardiology, cardiovascular surgery and interventional cardiology.

If you are career planning the NB Heart Centre offers bilingual opportunities in the cardiac operating room, cardiac catheterization laboratory, Intensive Care Unit, Coronary Care Unit, Cardiac Services ward, telehealth and cardiac health and wellness. Nursing orientation is offered to all newly hired nurses and is tailored to meet your individual needs; the average length of orientation is 4-6 weeks in duration.
