The Department of Laboratory Medicine offers a comprehensive service in Anatomical Pathology (histology, cytology and autopsy), and in Clinical Pathology (clinical biochemistry, haematology, transfusion medicine) and microbiology. The Department of Laboratory Medicine assists physicians in the efficient diagnosis and treatment of disease through provision of timely, accurate and relevant scientific data and patient care information.
