Job Satisfaction Testimonial

What do you do on a day to day basis?
I participate in the provision of rehabilitative services within the scope of my professional practice to patients served by the Extra-Mural Program. I may work with children, adults or seniors in a variety of settings. i.e. Private how, schools, nursing homes and special care homes.
What about this job gives you satisfaction?
I work with an interdisciplinary team to provide a holistic approach to patient care. There is a varied caseload working with different populations that makes my job interesting and challenging. EMP allows for independent/self management of my caseload. All of this lends to treating the person not the diagnosis and in turn the patients truly appreciate everything I do for them.
What do you feel you need to be successful working in EMP?
I need to be a good time manager, enjoy adventure and accept a challenge. I able to work independently as well as within an interdisciplinary team and be creative and flexible.
