The thing I enjoy the most as an Occupational Therapist with EMP is being out and about in the community and in clients’ home environment. It is more personal and meaningful for the client and the OT. What better place to assist clients with their daily functioning than in their own homes!

The client population we work with at EMP is adults from 18 to seniors both living in their own homes and in nursing homes. Others focus their treatments only with children both at home and in the school setting.

The most challenging parts of my job are juggling a diverse caseload, having a waiting list, and locating funding and equipment for clients who cannot afford costly equipment item are the most challenging areas.
