Sussex
Health Centre
The Sussex Health Centre continues the long tradition of providing
health care in the Sussex area. Since 1870, health care has been given by physicians,
nurses and other health care professionals. The former Kings County Memorial Hospital was
the foundation for today's modern hospital. An integral part of the AHSC, the Sussex
Health Centre opened in 1977 and offers quality health care services and wellness
programs. A team of physicians, nurses, and other health care workers give a comprehensive
range of emergency, inpatient, and ambulatory services through this modern,
25-bed
facility.
Admitting
Patients will be notified by the Admitting Office when to report to the Health Centre. The
Admitting Office is located in the main lobby. If the patient to be admitted is under 16
