Child Safety Link

Atlantic Health Sciences Corporation is excited to have been given an opportunity to address childhood injuries within our province. On April 24, CN announced that it has donated $125,000 to bring the highly successful Child Safety Link injury prevention program to New Brunswick to help make the province a safer place for children to live, learn, play and travel. CN Board Chairman, David McLean is pictured making the presentation to Heather Oakley, AHSC Administrative Director Trauma Program (left) and Sandra Newton, Manager of Child Safety Link, IWK Halifax. With CN's financial support, AHSC, Child Safety Link in Nova Scotia, and Safe Kids Canada have formed a partnership to open a Child Safety Link satellite office in Saint John later this year. The Child Safety Link program will help reduce children's injuries through home safety, playground safety, booster/car seat safety, helmet safety, poison prevention, and railway safety.
