Media & Public FAQ

How do I find the right spokesperson for my story?

Whether you have a specific medical expert in mind or need help finding the right person, all media calls should be directed to Director of Communications, Patricia Crowdis in the Communications department at (506) 648-6116.

What is your policy for media visiting AHSC?

Our hospital policy requires all members of the media to be supervised by a Communications representative while on AHSC property. Our first priority is to accommodate news media covering stories directly related to AHSC activities and patient care. All other requests are considered on an individual basis.

How do I get an update on a patient's condition?

We are bound to protect the confidentiality of our patients and as such, cannot release any patient information without patient consent.

What if I'm calling outside of traditional business hours?

If you have an urgent request that falls outside of traditional business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), call the Media Pager at 646-3030. Someone will return your call.
