The Mission of our organization is to promote, protect and improve the health and wellness of individuals, families and communities through quality care, education and research.

We provide health care delivery to the communities of Southwestern New Brunswick and, in a number of tertiary specialties, we serve the entire province. AHSC is comprised of acute care hospitals, a tertiary psychiatric facility, a veterans residential facility, a drug and alcohol treatment service and Extra-Mural community care. Our staff consists of committed and skilled individuals who are the heart of the care provided throughout our regional programs.  As a teaching organization we are able to participate in training the health care providers of tomorrow. AHSC places emphasis on research opportunities in Clinical Trials, Population Health and Telehealth.

We are able to work diligently towards this comprehensive mission because of our dedicated staff and physicians and the way in which they provide quality care to patients.
