Regional Health Authority B Saint John Zone is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner for the Médisanté – Saint-Jean. The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive care to clients, which includes health promotion, illness and injury prevention, supportive, curative and rehabilitative care. The Nurse Practitioner provides holistic care with a client caseload and acts as a catalyst to mobilize clients and their families to assume responsibility and participate in as much as possible in their own health care. The Nurse Practitioner also provides support and leadership to the larger community (i.e. the staff of the institution) in health promotion, illness and injury prevention, supportive, curative and rehabilitative care. As a member of the interdisciplinary and intersectoral team, the Nurse Practitioner’s practice is both autonomous and collaborative in nature. Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; considerable clinical nursing experience and successful completion of the Nurse Practitioner Program, registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nurses Association of New Brunswick.
