CARDIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST, REGISTERED
FULL TIME POSITION
SUSSEX HEALTH CENTRE - ECG

To perform electrocardiograms, exercise tolerance tests, ambulatory monitor procedures and pacemaker analysis.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current member in good standing with the New Brunswick Cardiology Technologists Association and the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists.
  • Maintain C.S.C.T. certification.
  • Maintain current CPR/BCLS, WHMIS, Fire & Disaster, Policy & Procedure education.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities provided by allied professions and institutions
  • Willing to partake in education courses and inservices as deemed necessary by the Clinical Co-ordinator
  • Demonstrate initiative and good judgement.
  • Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform duties both physically and mentally.
  • Willing to adhere to the facility dress code.
  • Establish good working relationships, effective communication skills, demonstrating good interpersonal skills with all staff and patients.
  • Demonstrate ‘team work’ skills’.
  • Associated duties includes clerical functions when necessary.
  • Good previous work record indicating a sense of responsibility
  • High regard for confidentiality
  • Bilingual preferred
