Registered Nurses are invited to apply for full time, part time, temporary and/or casual work within our Intensive Care Unit at the Saint John Regional Hospital. We are seeking both bilingual and unilingual applicants.

Purpose: To participate in the planning and delivery of total nursing care to meet individual patient needs in accordance with the philosophy, objectives and policies of the nursing service and ICU.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Registered Nurse currently registered in the Province of New Brunswick
• Current ICU experience
• Willing to participate in critical care courses and training as offered by the critical care team
• High regard for confidentiality and advocacy for patients
• Shows initiative and good judgment in emergency and crisis situations
• Ability to accept responsibility
• Ability to communicate effectively and pleasantly with patients, families, public, staff and physicians in order to develop positive working relationships
• Good performance and attendance record
• Physically and mentally able to perform assigned duties
